At the summit held on Tuesday 24^th September, Catherine talked about how PE and School Sport are a major part of the work the new Labour Government are doing, as they plan to open up opportunities in this country. She highlighted how the government values PE, school sport and physical activity for the way it can enhance children’s lives and wellbeing. As part of the speech, Catherine discussed her own journey through physical activity and sport as someone who played many sports and encouraged people within the sector to air their views as part of the review of the school curriculum.
