Speak Up
The Youth Sport Trust is committed to developing a culture and to providing a working environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying.
Recognising that, through loyalty or fear of repercussion, people may be reluctant to voice worries. We encourage individuals to speak up, knowing that they will be supported, and their concerns will be handled sensitively.
Speaking up will enable concerns to be investigated and dealt with for the benefit of all involved at the Youth Sport Trust. Anyone raising a concern can be confident that the matter will be handled appropriately and with an appropriate level of confidentiality.
How to speak up
Speak Up is available to everyone involved with YST. If you or someone else who is a member of staff, a member of learning academy, volunteer, or visitor, experience any form of discrimination such as harassment, bullying, or sexual violence you have a number of ways of informing us of your concerns.
Hopefully, you can raise concerns with your line manager, HR, wellbeing champion or someone else at the Youth Sport Trust.
However, the Youth Sport Trust understands that formally reporting an incident is not something that everyone wishes to do. Therefore, you can use one of the forms below to inform us of your concerns.
Speak Up should not be used to report a safeguarding concern if you have a safeguarding concern, please use the Safeguarding Incident Report Form.
If you wish to report a whistleblowing concern, please follow the reporting procedures in the YST Whistleblowing Policy.
