Working in small teams they have been leading weekly mini sports events for children after school as well as leading a festival of activity for children as part of a Bhubesi Pride Foundation celebration event, reaching 1850 children by the start of November alone.

By the end of December Local Trainers will have trained more young sports leaders enabling even more children to participate in sports activities and benefit from being physically active.

The Beckwith international Leadership Development (BILD) programme has been designed and funded by Youth Sport International and will be delivered in Malawi in partnership with BPF Malawi.

BILD Malawi aims to enhance the life-chances of young people by developing their leadership skills through sport.
