Being a Team Leader
I found out about the Team Leader programme through my university. I wanted to be a Team Leader to help young people be given more opportunities within sports and help them to develop themselves, while also trying to develop personal skills of my own, such as confidence and communication.
The Team Leader role has really helped me learn what I want to do after I finish my degree and how I want to spend my time after university—being someone who gets involved in the planning and running of events for young people in sports. I want to help them develop life skills, meet new people, and also try to make sports fun again for the younger generations
