Being a Team Leader

I found out about this role through the YST website. I wanted to be a Team Leader to gain more knowledge and understanding about leadership within the sporting community. I have learnt so many things about myself, but one that really sticks out to me is that I can be myself without having to put on a mask to try and fit in.

Who is your role model?

Tiger Woods – How he overcame so many barriers, from racism to injuries, yet still persevered and continued to perform at the highest levels.

If you could play any sport, what would it be?

Football – I would love to feel the sense of team and belonging again, just like I did when I was 14 years old.
